For over a decade, the local chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC), operated from the basement of a former church building. This was a temporary solution following their purchase of the property 12 years ago, with the long-term vision of transforming the sanctuary into a modern office and training facility.

Benson Method was engaged to provide comprehensive Owner's Representative and design services for this pivotal $1 million adaptive reuse project to convert the dated church sanctuary into a state-of-the-art 30,000 SF space.

A key challenge, successfully navigated by Benson Method, was performing the entire renovation while the building remained occupied. We meticulously managed the project to ensure zero interruption to ABC’s ongoing operations and critical training classes, allowing them to continue their vital work uninterrupted throughout the construction process. The successful completion of this project provided ABC with a dynamic and efficient new headquarters, fulfilling their long-held vision.
