DESCRIPTION

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission was founded in the 1950s as a community hospital focused on providing comprehensive care. Over the years it has undergone multiple additions and renovations. This remodel project gave special design attention to the patient experience, incorporating the newest trends in technology, providing warm and hospitable surroundings while committing to products that are durable and cost effective.

This project was part of the overall campus master plan which called for a phased construction and to occur while remaining fully operational. The renovation consisted of a new Physician Lounge, Conference Center, Dining/Kitchen, Administration Offices and Central and Sterile Processing. The interior design creates maximized comfort and minimizes patient anxiety through furniture and finish selections like those found in a boutique hotel.
